Brittney Higgins spent her childhood and the early days of her adolescence in Southern California until her family relocated to the Land of Enchantment in 1994.
An avid photographer since her high school days she has always had in affinity for the camera. In college she began a series of course work in digital photography & photojournalism and took numerous creative workshops. After earning her Bachelors Degree from The University of New Mexico in 2003 she initiated her affiliation with the local independent film circuit. Taking full advantage of the opportunity she was able to learn the industry from the inside out and gained experience in every position from Production Assistant to Producer until she found her very own niche.
In 2004 Brittney started a mentorship program with known Fashion & Fitness Photographer, Martin Ryter. She also began working with Maja Models and Talent Agency shooting headshots and portfolios. This is where her love for shooting people really began to take shape. In 2005 she began working with Nick Ward from The Root 66 Magazine, shooting various artists such as Brandon Maldonado as well as the Los Angeles based band Fosforo and singer/songwriters Rodney Branigan and Matt Jones, just to name a few.
In 2006 she packed up and headed back to the west coast, only she stopped in Las Vegas and fortunately never left. Working as a freelance photographer since 2007 her dream was always to have her own photography studio. In 2011 she started her own company and began the groundwork for B Creative Studios.
Brittney is an incredibly ambitious individual with an unparalleled sense of self. She has made it her mission to live the life of her dreams and fears only fear its self. Photography has been a passion of hers since the day she picked up a camera. Just as the caterpillar was transformed into a beautiful butterfly, she sees life through her lens as a newfound realm of creative imagery and endless possibility.
